Sales tax will not apply to any of your orders for as long as your business verification remains active. No need to resubmit.
Resellers vs. bulk buyers.
If you are a verified reseller, you receive wholesale pricing and are not charged sales tax, regardless of order quantity. Your purchases are classified as resale.
You can set up a wholesale account and buy at wholesale rates even if you're purchasing for gifting or corporate bulk orders. However, since these purchases are not classified as resale, sales tax will apply.

Do I need to submit documents before I can order?
No. You can create an account and place your first order immediately. Our onboarding team will request your resale certificate before the first order ships.
What document do I need?
A resale certificate (also called a reseller certificate) for the state where your business operates.
Does one certificate cover multiple store locations?
Yes. One resale certificate can cover multiple branches under the same business. See our guide to multi-location accounts.
How long until sales tax is removed?
Once your resale certificate is on file and verified, sales tax is automatically removed from all future orders.
What if I don't have a certificate yet?
You can still buy at wholesale rates. Sales tax will apply to your orders until a valid resale certificate is on file.
I'm buying in bulk but not for resale. Do I still pay tax?
Yes. Wholesale pricing is available to all verified businesses, but sales tax applies if your purchases are not intended for resale.
